If you’re a new parent feeling stretched thin, a teen or young adult finding your way, or someone wrestling with anxiety or depression — we may work well together.
Together, we’ll find practical ways to help you feel more balanced, confident, and connected to what matters most.
I’m passionate about supporting new moms through the often-overlooked realities of postpartum anxiety, depression, and paranoia. These experiences deserve more open conversation and care, especially in the vulnerable months after birth.
The clients I work best with are those who are ready to show up and do the work. They’re often moving through major life changes and want to better understand themselves as they grow and adapt.
With a deep commitment to supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging transitions, I bring a wide range of experience across multiple levels of care in both community and clinical settings, including roles as a school social worker, residential supervisor for homeless and at-risk pregnant teens ages 14–18, child protection services worker, homeless outreach coordinator, and being a therapist in group practice.
These roles shaped my trauma-informed and compassionate therapeutic style. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside adolescents navigating instability, young mothers seeking safety and support, families facing crisis, and individuals working to rebuild their lives after trauma. I understand the complexities of systems, the barriers people face, and the resilience it takes to heal and grow—especially when resources are limited or trust has been broken
I love helping parents who want to break cycles of physical or emotional abuse and build more conscious, connected relationships with their children.
Depression and anxiety are central to my work because they show up differently for everyone — and therapy should, too. I believe in tailoring sessions to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Lastly, I’m deeply committed to trauma work. There’s still a lot of stigma around how trauma affects the brain and our ability to function, and I find great purpose in helping clients understand and heal from those impacts.
When I’m not at work I love exploring new playgrounds and coffee shops with my daughter, hiking in the Blue Ridge mountains and curling up on the couch reading fantasy books.
I’m licensed in NC and see clients both in-person and virtually.
